The Tidbits and Such;)
I’m 24, and curiosity is responsible for most of how I got here. It’s responsible for cliffs climbed with more confidence than sense, a bridge jumped holding nothing but a cord, fjords crossed in a plane about the size of my apartment, and more nights spent in someone else’s country than my own.
A business degree from McCombs happened somewhere in the middle of all that traveling. So did a semester at Copenhagen Business School, and six years tutoring kids & young adults that started in 2019 without stopping, no matter what else stacked on top of it.
In between, there was a stretch helping an ESG consultancy get a foothold in the Gulf, a year running international market entry for OutcomePath across the UK, the UAE, and APAC at the same time, and three months at NCH Corporation building the financial models behind a $15 million growth plan, a contract I remember getting excited about the day it came through.
Then two companies, more or less at once. CHIP is one of them. Jiagia is another, a fine art studio building a universe that puts Greek reason and Indian mythology in the same room, as equals.
For most of this year, I was interim COO of Savimbo, learning about biodiversity credits from Indigenous communities in the Colombian Amazon who are protecting land most of the world will never see. Jhony López has protected 77,000 hectares of that rainforest for 34 years, most of it unpaid, and that’s the actual reason my LinkedIn headline says Working for Jaguars. It’s not a joke;)
This year also added one more adventure: consulting for Automated Woman Advisory, helping professional women and women-led businesses move into AI-enabled ways of working. The usage gap itself already closed. What’s left is different: whether you’re believed capable of a tool once you’re already using it. That’s the harder problem, and it’s the one I wanted to work on.
Every one of these is a way of understanding the world, a little at a time. That’s the only job I’ve ever actually wanted, whether it looked like a cliff, a company, or a spreadsheet of research on trust and AI.
Although, as we all know, the more we learn the less we know.

To pursue research that feeds into this work requires the freedom to follow a thread of curiosity without knowing where it leads. To tell the truth without fear or favour. That freedom is incredibly rare.
